Senior Web Designer/Developer

We are looking to add a leader to our web team. Candidates must be passionate about the field of web design, programming and new technology.

Job Duties include:

• Supervises the work of the Web Technologies staff. Assigns them their duties and checks their work for accuracy and completeness.
• Manages IMC servers, operating environment and ancillary software.
• Maintains an awareness of advances in technological developments and how they may contribute to business success.
• Provide support and training for new personnel in the use of existing and new technologies.
• Management of key web platforms, including Content Management Systems.
• Creative approach to develop the right solution to meet clients' needs.
• Facilitates and/or monitors periodic code reviews.
• Work closely with Client Relations Managers and management to conceptualize and execute product designs.
• Create innovative graphic and web designs that demonstrate original use of color, photos, illustrations, multimedia, navigation elements, and text, yet does not sacrifice usability.
• Coordinate with Director of Operations to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Be on the forefront and share knowledge with team of new technology, including: social media, SEO, CMS, e-commerce solutions, e-mail marketing, etc.
• Troubleshoot programming/maintenance issues.
• Act as the main technology resource for company.
• Design and Implementation of new web concepts, including:
  • Mapping or outlining a website's structural content.
  • Creating or editing images and graphics for website use.
  • Determining all coding requirements for website creation including: e-commerce capability, forms and specialized scripts.
  • Coding website using HTML,CSS or other software.
  • Coordinating with outside programmers for specialized scripts.
  • Integrating verbal content with site design for final product.
  • Posting completed site to internet server using FTP software.
  • Making changes to the site directed by client.
  • Submitting completed site to search engines.
  • Must be able to create JavaScript code and use PL/SQL for access into Oracle relational databases.
  • Ability to create graphical representations and user icons.

Salary based on experience. We love welcoming new staff to the desert area, but do not offer relocation compensation.
