In 2003, Briana relocated to Palm Desert with her mother, two sisters and their big Golden Retriever. Originally from Orange County, the desert proved to be quite a different breed of animal, but she quickly became acclimated to the community-oriented feel of the Coachella Valley… The heat was another story.
She finished out the second half of her freshman year at Palm Desert High, then transferred to the Horizon School for Independent Study for the duration of her high school career. This allowed her more time to pursue her goals in the work field and beyond, in addition to teaching her valuable time management and organizational skills.
During this time, she began to intern at Time Warner on TV 10's local talk show, Valley Views. Briana was trained in the sound and recording systems but focused in camera operation, learning as much as she could. She stayed with the studio through four seasons of the show before deciding to devote all of her time towards her true passion; computers and technology.
Briana came to work at IMC in 2005, initially hired as part-time and on-call. As both the company and her capabilities as an up-and-coming web developer continued to grow, she took every opportunity to learn all that the field had to offer. Now working full-time at the age of 18 and carrying the titles of Web Support Manager and Junior Web Developer, Briana is happy to call IMC home.
Briana has always taken a strong interest in the creative side of life, and has an obsession with art, music, and writing. Her work with web has provided her yet another outlet for her creativity.
In her off time, (and when not playing video games like a fanatic) Briana submerges herself in her writing, enjoying the company of her muses - her Corgi, Roxy, and the latest addition to the family, Binks, her grey tabby.
